Man of the Moment 07.08.20

The 'man of the moment' this week was a gentleman in pink waiting for a bus at Gangnam Station. In itself this is not extraordinary as there are always people at Gangnam Station waiting for buses even at 6am as I discovered (they were trying to get home after a long long night). However, this man qualifies for the award as he was standing on the curb when a bus passed him and as it went by he was splashed with water for the rain earlier that day. He was thoroughly soaked but then went to complain to the driver. A few words were exchanged and he went on his way. But I was thinking to myself 'Why would you stand on the curb in front of a puddle when you are at a major bus stop?'. Surely he realised he would get wet if he stood there. And the fact that the other people waiting were in a perfect semi-circle around the puddle should have been warning enough.

So, here's to you 'man in pink'.

He ties with another man on the bus. He was preaching about his version of Christianity and even though I loathe people preaching, for there is a time and place for that as some others discovered earlier this month. However, as Voltaire famously put it, "I may not agree with what you say, but I will fight to the death for your right to say it".

And here's to you my evangelical friend.
